The legendary squadron — Fox, Falco, Peppy, and Slippy — takes to the skies once more to defend the Lylat system in a fast-paced space-combat shooter, complete with fully voiced dialogue and a sweeping orchestral score.
You pilot your Arwing through deep space and across enemy-held planets, weaving through laser fire and blasting waves of foes. The Switch 2 version adds a first-person cockpit view and mouse-style aiming for extra precision, plus branching missions that change based on the objectives you complete and difficulty options to suit newcomers and veterans alike. A Challenge Mode lets you replay missions to chase rewards.
Star Fox is even better with a partner. A two-player co-op mode lets one player fly while the other mans the guns, and online team battles put squads against each other with up to eight pilots in the air at once. GameShare even lets a friend join in from a single copy.
